A couple years ago, I had our elf start “hosting” a North Pole Breakfast upon his arrival. I’ve changed it up each year from hot chocolate bars, to this year a DIY edible fruit Christmas Tree! Hudson gets so excited, and it makes Christmastime so much fun!
These free printables gave it a personalized touch!
Clementine always brings Christmas books, and fun Christmas clothes. I found a cute sweatshirt and matching joggers to add this year. Here are some other cute options here, here, and here. Books: Elf on the Shelf | Llama Llama Holiday Drama
Anyone else celebrate Fall until October 31st, and move straight into Christmas? I love moving right into decorating, and this year the weather followed suit with cold Winter temps! I hate frigid weather, but I do love a good excuse to slip into a cozy Winter boot! These boots are my absolute fave of all time! I lived in them last Winter, they’re so comfy, yet cute! I’m loving this year’s new hues (here, here & here), as well! My go-to with my fave faux leather leggings this year are chunky hiking boots! I love a cozy wedge sneaker for a chic casual look also! Of course, I love rolling down this staple with a sherpa pullover, too!
Once cold temps hit, I love layering in cozy knits, fuzzy boots and cute hats. The downside of sporting my favorite Fall finds comes along with dull skin. Sharing my favorite ways to stay moisturized and combat dryness from your lips to your toes!
This lip mask is heaven. I put it on before bed, and wipe it off in the morning for perfectly smooth and moisturized lips!
I’m always looking for a good eye cream to battle fine lines. This one is silky, lightweight and allows for seamless makeup application.
This face oil plumps and adds a healthy glow to all skin types, as well as brightening discoloration. Tip: I use it on my cuticles also!
I’ve raved about body brushes in numerous posts, but it’s my favorite way to exfoliate dead skin cells, and boost lymphatic drainage before hopping in the shower. It also promotes collagen production and reduces cellulite!
This razor has been a total game changer. It gives the closest shave, which exfoliates, and takes out the guesswork by arriving at your door step each month. I even got Josh on the band wagon. Not to mention, they’re super inexpensive, compared to most brands! I’m loving their clean body lotion and shave cream, as well!
This body oil provides nourishing hydration without a greasy residue, and even diminishes scarring and stretch marks!
Staying hydrated is a also a huge factor in battling dryness, as well!
Hudson and I love all the Fall things, so we decided to do his Halloween Parties on an annual basis! This years activities included a candy charcuterie board, cupcake decorating, a hayride and crafting memory books from the party. He had the best night with his best friends!

Cupcake Decorating. My sweet friend baked candy corn colored cupcakes. The kids got to ice them and decorate with a variety of sprinkles & candy!
We had a photo station where the kids can take pictures throughout the party, then decorate a spooky memory book with the photos as a keepsake!

#1. The Softest Sheets | These sheets are not only the softest and great quality, but they’re also extremely affordable, so you can stock up your linen closet! They come in a variety of colors, as well.
#2. Sanitizing Steam Mop | When Hudson was a baby and crawling all over the house, it put my mind at ease knowing I can sanitize the floors in just a few minutes. It’s still one of my favorite cleaning items. I bought these extra steam mop pads to go with it.
#3. The Ultimate Carpet/Upholstery Stain Remover | I often get asked, how do you have a white couch with a toddler!? This product is one of the main reasons we are able to! (I’ll do a post on the others soon.) There has been everything from mac and cheese, to markers on our white couch, and this removes literally anything and everything, and it’s non-toxic. I keep an arsenal of these in our cleaning cabinet, because you can use it in your carpet scrubber also!
#4. Fridge & Pantry Organizers | I use these throughout the fridge to keep yogurts, juice boxes, and fruit organized. I love using them throughout the cabinets (especially lazy suzan cabinets) to store carton foods, rice, quinoa, etc. I love this larger option also.
#5. Wool Dryer Balls | Instead of using dryer sheets, I add essential oils to these dryer balls to cut down on drying time, and soften our clothes without synthetic fragrances and chemicals.
#6. Drawer Organizers | Micro-organizing makes life so much easier IMO. I use these in the bathroom drawers, and my desk drawers and it prevents them from becoming “junk drawers.”
#7. Stainless Steel Squeegee | This is an essential for glass shower doors. It keeps them streak-free in-between cleanings.
#8. Spinning Organizer | I have two corner cabinets in my kitchen, and this has been the ultimate solution for keeping them organized! I put all of our thermos style cups, and bottles in them and it keeps everything nice and neat. I also use them in our medicine cabinet and to organize spices.
#9. Microfiber Facial Washcloths | Literally the softest washcloths ever! I love using these to remove makeup, and wash and exfoliate my face at night.
#10. Dyson Pure Cool Link Wi-Fi Air Purifier | With us having allergies and asthma in our family, I feel so much better having an air purifier. It automatically removes 99.97% of allergens and pollutants, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander from your home.
Every time I see a fixer upper, i envision all the little tweaks i would love to do to update it. When I saw a local playhouse for sale, I immediately saw a modern little farmhouse for Hudson to play in. I snatched it up and Josh and I went to work!
First, we took the playhouse apart. We then drilled drain holes in the bottom of the pieces since we knew we would be power washing it and we didn’t want to get any water stuck inside.
We then power washed and scrubbed it.
After drying, we spray painted each piece. We added an additional coat to each, then finished with a clear top coat spray.
I purchased solar lights, a bell and mat. After drying, we drilled in the lights and bell, and I added topiaries. Hudson loves it! The neutral colors make it easy for us to decorate each season!
I’ve been heavy on the self-care front for as long as I can remember. The beauty aisle was always the first spot I would browse through on TJ Maxx trips with my mom when I was 10. I was always on the hunt for face masks, so I could throw them on while I was soaking in the tub!
I’ve come a long way with my face mask selections, and this Turmeric 2-in-1 Brightening & Exfoliating Mask truly feels like an in-home facial and has all the perks! From polishing dull skin, uneven skin tone, sun damage and supporting healthy cell renewal, to unclogging pore congestion and oil, my skin looks and feels so healthy and glowing afterward! My “mask routine” looks a little different 20 years later, throwing it on while I load the dishwasher & switch laundry before bed, but I’ll take it!
Clean skincare has been the key to clear skin for me. I never realized how simple it was, the cleaner the ingredients, the clearer my skin has been. I recently started using Kora Organics Noni Glow Oil, and love how brightening and healthy it makes my skin look. I added the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask to my nighttime routine to boost hydration and plump skin (fine lines & wrinkles especially!) while I sleep. I wake up the next morning with such healthy, fresh looking skin!
Matcha green tea powder is pretty much the mothership of superfoods. Need an energy pick me up? Want to boost your metabolism? Clear your skin? Lower anxiety? Fortify your immune system? Improve concentration? It’s a cure all! Any chance i can sneak a teaspoon, I do!
I love making chia seed pudding and sticking it in the fridge for a quick snack or dessert. Chia seeds kept you feeling fuller longer, so I love bringing them to work with me. I decided to combine the two to reap all the benefits!
Matcha Chia Seed Pudding
Makes 2 Servings
1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (or other Non-Dairy milk)
4 TBSP Chia Seeds
1 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder
1 Squirt of Stevia (or 1 packet)
Optional: Unsweetened Organic Coconut Shreds
Toppings: sliced strawberries, banana, blueberries, chocolate chips, nuts
Mix ingredients (except for toppings) in a bowl or mason jar (I like to use a mason jar with a lid then divide into servings). Let sit overnight, top with your favorite toppings!
The NSale is officially live for public access! Here are my top must-haves to scoop up before they are gone!
#1 LEOPARD | I will be incorporating leopard detail in booties, camis and cardis this Fall! The neutral print is so versatile, you can’t go wrong! This comfy cardi is sold out (not sure if it will be restocking), but I found a dupe here! I can’t wait to pair this silk cami with long dusters! (More options: here, here & here)
#2 GLO PRO | This has been one of my favorite beauty buys. I use the lip, eye, and body attachments, as well. It basically tricks your skin into thinking it needs repaired, so cellular growth is promoted, allowing products to penetrate deeper into the skin to be much more effective! [ Sale Price $179 – Retail $260]
#3 OVERSIZED SWEATERS | I’m soaking in all the oversized coziness when crisp Fall air arrives. These pullovers pair perfectly with these boots, or these must have leggings and slip on flats! (Another great option)
#4 SNAKESKIN BOOTS | Another neutral print I’m loving this season. These boots are a fun alternative to a basic taupe or black, to spice up any outfit! [Sale Price $79.90 – Retail $119.95]
